Firm Profile

Manchee & Manchee, P.C. is the successor to the sole proprietorship established by William L. Manchee in 1976. The practice was incorporated in 1985 and was initially called William L. Manchee, P.C.  The name was changed to Manchee & Associates, P.C. in 1992. In 2000 James J. Manchee became a partner and the name changed to Manchee & Manchee, L.L.P. In 2009 the firm changed its name to Manchee & Manchee, P.C.

The firm has traditionally been a full service law firm, however, in recent years it has been focusing more on consumer law, specifically fair credit reporting after bankruptcy. We still provide a wide range of legal services including business law, civil litigation, real estate, estate planning, and bankruptcy.

The firm now employs three full time attorneys including William Manchee, his son James J. Manchee and Marilyn S. Altamira. Over the years the firm has also enjoyed a close relationship with Zola B. Blicker who has since retired.

Manchee & Manchee, P.C. is dedicated to exposing and getting relief for consumers who are victimized by predatory creditors and abusive collection agents.  in this spirit Jim Manchee contributed to this very informative Business Week Article, Prisoners of Debt.

Manchee & Manchee has been a leader in defending small business owners for over three decades. In fact William Manchee has written the book on it.
